Sex Offender Match Level One Intakes (PATS 9027)

The item below is revised to clarify that when there is a Match Level 1 report and staff confirm that the sex offender is living in the operation, the investigation:

  •  must be entered as a P2 non-abuse or neglect investigation if the victim is an adult; and

  •  must be upgraded to a P2 abuse or neglect investigation if the victim is a child.

Revisions to LPPH 3000, 4000, and 5100 (PATS 9162)

The items below are revised to provide policy regarding:

  •  entering an application in CLASS within five days of receipt;

  •  including the decision to apply for a different permit as a reason for withdrawal;

  •  ensuring a director for a licensed child day care operation is not also the operator of a listed home;

  •  removing outdated information with respect to past denials or revocations;

  •  following up and documenting waiver/variance outcomes;

  •  documenting when compliance with background check requirements is evaluated during investigation inspections; and

  •  incorporating the content of a field communication regarding sampling inspections.
