Placement Transfer Summary (PATS 1712)
The items below are revised to include procedures for completing the Placement Transfer Summary. This revision incorporates the use of Form 2279 Placement Summary. Staff were informed of this form with the issuance of PSA 09-045 on 1/5/2009, as part of the CPS initiative to begin full implementation of CCL Minimum Standards. See:

Medication for Children in Temporary DFPS Care (PATS 2022)
The appendix below is added to document new policy addressing:
• the administration, storage, and destruction of medications when children are temporarily in the care of DFPS after removal, such as between placements or during Child Watch; and
• actions to take when a child has not taken his or her medications for 24 hours or longer (for example, when a child has run away or refused medications or medications were left at the former placement).
