Announcing the 2023 PIP Conference

2023 PIP Conference: Partners in Prevention Conference, November 14-16, Renaissance Austin Hotel

The Partners in Prevention Conference will take place Tuesday, November 14 (Grantee Day) through Thursday, November 16, 2023 at the Renaissance Austin Hotel.

Countdown to PIP...

Our 2023 Partners in Prevention theme is "Powering Connections". Strong communities exist all across Texas. Many of our communities are rich with resources, such as safe and affordable housing, nutritious food, health care for the entire family, quality childcare options, and access to social and emotional support. Even so, many Texas families do not know where to turn to access the many support solutions available to them.

Strong communities do not just have solutions for families. They have connected resources that are responsive to the changing needs of families, from clean and safe spaces to play, to parenting classes and everything in between. Through the innovative work of the prevention workforce, we can power up, connect, and engage our communities to create an interwoven safety net of supports. This way, when a family walks through any door, our community members will be able to provide or direct them to the support they need.

This year we invite you to be part of the conversation addressing how we can "power connections" within our communities, agencies, families, and ourselves to achieve our mission of a Texas where all children and their families can thrive.
