• analyses;
• operational review;
• advice;
• recommendations;
• reports; and/or
• training designed to improve regional or state office CPS services.
8532 Gathering Required Details

To request approval to contract with a program consultant, CPS staff must collect and submit the following information to the contract manager:
• The consultant's required qualifications;
• Each person who will act as a consultant under the contract;
• The purposes of the consulting services to be provided;
• The scope, schedule, and kinds of activities of the consulting services to be provided;
• Measurable objectives;
• Outcomes to be used to evaluate the success or failure of the consultation; and
• The estimated number of CPS staff and others who will receive consulting services under the contract.
