Supervisor Consultations during an Investigation (PATS 14242)

Policy was updated to streamline and align the policy with current practice.

The investigator must conduct a staffing with a supervisor after making initial contact with an alleged victim, before leaving the operation or home.

The investigator and supervisor discuss whether a safety plan is warranted and, if so, what specific risks the safety plan must mitigate (see 4500 Assessing the Immediate Safety of Children).
