Children as Alleged Perpetrators in Licensing Intakes

The item below is revised to explain new Licensing policy on aggression by children. A child who lives in a daycare licensing (DCL) or residential childcare licensing (RCCL) facility is never identified as an alleged perpetrator of abuse or neglect, even when the child has allegedly abused or neglected another child who lives in a DCL or RCCL facility.

This policy clarifies which program notifies CPS when a child in CPS conservatorship is involved in an AFC intake or I&R.

SWI has been entering names into IMPACT according to outdated protocol. The handbook is updated to reflect that the names should be entered according to how they appear legally, which includes the use of hyphens, spaces, and apostrophes.
